Marysville Board adjourns after finalist interview; roll call shows six present

The Marysville Public Schools Board of Education convened a special meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Sept. 18 at the Marysville High School Media Center. Secretary Nicole Winston conducted roll call and recorded six members present — Colleen Dodson, Keven Palmateer (Vice President), Barry Kreiner (Treasurer), Nick Thomas, Mike Rutallie and Nicole Winston — and one absent member, President Dave Schmorrow.
Vice President Keven Palmateer led the Pledge of Allegiance and read the district's public-comment rules, after which no citizens addressed the Board. The principal agenda item was a finalist candidate interview with Stephen Doerr; the transcript records the interview ran from 7:02 to 8:21 p.m.
After the interview the Board recorded no further comments. Treasurer Barry Kreiner moved to adjourn; Trustee Colleen Dodson seconded. The motion carried unanimously with six ayes and no nays; the meeting adjourned at 8:23 p.m. The transcript does not record any vote or decision related to hiring.
