Board signs off on LCAP parent summary and local performance reflection

The presenter noted a small typo in the parent snapshot that mischaracterized a custodian’s duties and that she corrected the entry: "The custodian was going to be doing intervention services… I changed that and put what the custodian actually did." The board discussed outreach challenges and approved distribution.
The board also reviewed local performance indicators and flagged English Language Development (ELD) instruction and parent advisory representation as areas needing attention — the presenter said the district has a small percentage of English learners and therefore does not trigger a separate EL advisory committee but should still seek representation on its site council.
