The committee discussed several examples staff flagged as "business as usual," including ongoing maintenance of city real property and routine public-safety messaging; staff noted many of these items are already part of daily operations and existing reporting.
Staff also described existing capabilities that address some matrix items: an electronic form on the city's emergency-preparedness web page for residents to provide property-specific information to first responders, daily patrols and camera oversight of the public dock, and targeted messages for known seasonal risks. Committee members agreed to treat many of the matrix items as ongoing while keeping periodic reviews and bringing a condensed list back for committee consideration.
