The Chair and members also discussed the difference between municipal ordinances and private HOA rules (Wild Dunes), noting HOAs can set stricter rules inside gated communities. Committee members asked that scooters be included in the legal classification work so the city has a consistent policy framework. Staff expects to have the attorney's matrix for the next meeting.
