Pennfield board approves hires, tenure, pay scales and labor re-openers

At its June 17 meeting the Pennfield Schools Board approved multiple personnel and compensation items, including new staff hires, the 2025-26 tenure recommendations and updates to the district pay scales. The motions were recorded with movers and seconders (primarily Austin Brown and Tim Wood) and each vote among members present was unanimous; two members were absent.
The board also approved labor re-opener letters of agreement with the Pennfield Education Association (PEA) for 2025-26 and the Pennfield Educational Paraprofessional Association (PEPA) for 2025-27. Both agreements were approved by recorded motion and vote in the meeting minutes. Superintendent Stephanie Lemmer presented recommendations for hires and tenure that the board approved.
