Cheryl Kaiser presented the 2025–26 first interim report, reporting a 7% increase in total revenues since budget adoption driven largely by local donations, increased forecasts for Eagle's Nest and preschool revenue, and several grants. She noted a 5.5% increase in expenses, mostly supplies funded by carryover and donations, and an improved beginning fund balance from $1,480,000 to $1,660,000 with $212,000 in unassigned funds.
Board members asked about areas to reduce spending; staff said targeted program reviews and prior right-sizing efforts had already produced some savings, such as replacing an auditor to reduce costs. The board moved to approve the first interim report and the motion passed by voice vote.
