Chamber seeks e-bike/golf-cart ordinance as library reports highest June attendance

Jeannie Wortman, speaking for the Chamber, thanked park staff and volunteers for recent work and asked the council to consider an ordinance addressing e-bikes or golf-cart vehicles and minors for safety reasons.
"She put forth a request from the Chamber for an ordinance for e-bikes or golf cart vehicles and minors for safety purposes," the Chamber representative said. The council took the request under advisement; no ordinance action was taken July 7.
Dawn Meadows reported that June’s door count at the library was the highest of the year and reviewed Summer Reading events including author visits, a magic show, and an Herbal Tea Program with Valley Teas. Meadows listed upcoming community events, thanked Parks staff for bringing fans when the AC went out, and noted a Paint and Plant event scheduled for July 8.
