Adult and alternative education programs report enrollment gains, nearing graduations

District staff provided a detailed update on adult and alternative education enrollment and student progress.
Mr. Myers reported enrollment figures: “25 Active Adults ▪ 35 Adults have enrolled this year. o Alternative- ▪ 42 Students.” He said the year-to-date total credits are 96.50 and the current marking period has produced 24 credits (11.5 adult credits and 12.5 alternative credits). Several students are close to graduating, and staff continue outreach to support GED completion and diplomas. Mr. Myers also described upcoming staff training and a Christmas party scheduled for Dec. 18 (dinner at 11:30 a.m.).
The board thanked staff for outreach efforts and for supporting students working toward completion and graduation.
