Athletics director reports honors, conference plans and upcoming tournament
Summary

He reported a series of honors for athletes—volleyball and cross country earned all-conference recognition, and football players earned all-conference, all-area, academic and some all-state honors. He also told the board that “The Ashley Athletic Department will also be taking 8 female athletes to the Women in Sports Leadership Conference in February.” Mr. Cartwright noted a Queen of Hearts fundraiser scheduled for the meeting night and that the boys basketball team will leave for an overnight tournament on Friday.
The board acknowledged the recognitions and indicated the district will share remaining honor roll announcements via social media at the end of the week.
