The Ouachita Parish Police Jury adopted Ordinance No. 9554 on July 20, 2026, authorizing the sale of nine adjudicated properties by public auction and setting conditions for each Act of Sale. The ordinance lists parcel numbers, purchasers and recorded bid amounts for each property and directs that mineral rights be reserved to the parish.
Parcels included: #45364 (purchased by Bosley Investments, Inc., bid $3,708.27), #109568 (Bosley Investments, bid $7,589.28), #100846 (Terrell Canada Johnson, bid $893.26), #49600 (Trey George, bid $765.48), #12066 (Paulette Martin, bid $1,333.33), #12132 and #12154 (Breanna Lee & Ismar Lucas, bids $1,333.33 and $821.13 respectively), #19260 (Parish Conservation, LLC, bid $910.37) and #54728 (Isiah Sanders, bid $3,400.00). The ordinance requires E&P Consulting, LLC to certify title searches and notice to interested parties before closing.
The ordinance was adopted by a 4–0 vote with two members absent. It directs that sales be conducted without warranty of title, on parish-approved sale forms and that mineral rights be explicitly reserved. Closing is conditioned on certifications and notice steps required by La. R.S. 47:2201 et seq.
Following adoption, the Police Jury President is authorized to execute cash sales to the highest acceptable bidders under the stated conditions.
