The O’Brien County Board of Supervisors approved multiple interfund transfers on July 1, 2025, moving budgeted dollars between county funds for Fiscal 2026.
“Moved by Thomas, seconded by Friedrichsen to adopt O’Brien County Resolution 2025-20; a resolution approving the interfund transfer of $19,000 from the General Basic fund to the Conservation Land Acquisition fund during Fiscal 2026. Motion carried by all ayes.” The board also adopted Resolution 2025-21 to transfer $2,000,000 from the General Basic fund to the General Supplemental fund and Resolution 2025-22 approving transfers of $242,349 from General Basic and $3,347,108 from the Rural Services fund.
All three motions were recorded as carried by all ayes. The transfers reallocate budget authority among county funds for the coming fiscal year; the board did not record amendments to those amounts during the meeting and provided no additional public commentary in the minutes.
