West Branch–Rose City board sets 2025–26 meeting calendar, appoints election administrators
Summary
The board approved regular Committee of the Whole and Board meeting dates for 2025–26 and appointed the district superintendent and recording secretary as the school election administrator and deputy, respectively.
President Heather Kearns called the Board of Education to order at 6:00 p.m. and the Board moved immediately to organizational business. The Board voted to establish the second Monday of each month as the Committee of the Whole meeting date and the third Monday as the regular Board meeting date for the 2025–2026 fiscal year; both motions carried unanimously, 5-0.
The Board also appointed Gail Hughey as Administrator of School Elections for 2025–2026 and Karyn Randall as Deputy Administrator of School Elections. Debra R. Abraham moved the election-administrator appointment; Gary Miller moved the deputy appointment. Both appointments carried on roll call votes recorded in the minutes.
