Middle school robotics team showcases robot; three students honored as Citizens of the Month

At the Feb. 9 Paw Paw school board meeting, the middle school robotics coaches presented the team and displayed their competition robot; the board also recognized Cora Marsh (6th), Will Schmitt (7th) and Kiera Morey (8th) as Citizens of the Month for perseverance.
Coaches Andrea Hurst and Blake Burnette presented the Paw Paw Middle School Robotics Team to the board and answered members' questions about the program. The team displayed the competition robot used in events; the presentation was described in the minutes as enjoyable for attendees and board members.
Middle School Principal J. McDaniel announced the Citizens of the Month for perseverance: 6th grader Cora Marsh, 7th grader Will Schmitt and 8th grader Kiera Morey. The recognitions were listed under presentations and will be included in district communications to families.
