Resident urges Lucas to tighten lighting and zoning enforcement after new home developments

Jacobs said some streets are becoming overly bright "like Disney World" when multiple homes light trees and yards and urged Planning & Zoning and council to review lighting‑plan approvals.
She also asked the council to enforce residential zoning where model homes or occupants are using properties for commercial vehicle storage and long‑term parking — reporting examples of driveways and streets crowded with trucks and cars that she said have caused near‑misses for drivers and safety concerns for children. Council acknowledged the comment and suggested staff and P&Z review current approvals and enforcement processes.
