Board members and attendees congratulated Seale during a brief recognition ceremony.
The presentation noted the state Operation Recognition initiative, which allows eligible veterans to receive diplomas when they meet specified criteria. President Faciano and board members thanked Seale for his service; Dr. Madsen said he had spoken with Seale before the ceremony to hear "a little bit about your background and your story." The board took no additional action beyond the ceremonial recognition.
