On Jan. 13, 2025 the Edgewater Community Redevelopment Agency approved a $25,000 façade grant reimbursement for the property at 601 North Ridgewood Avenue, owner Timothy Conley.
City staff told the board the CRA originally approved the application on April 1, 2024, and characterized the program as “a fifty-fifty matching grant up to $25,000.” Staff said all work and closeout documentation had been provided and that a clean-hands search showed no outstanding permits. “The total cost of the project was $75,656.50,” staff reported, and recommended full reimbursement of the $25,000 requested.
A committee member moved to approve the reimbursement and the board recorded a unanimous roll-call vote in favor: Chairman Depew, Miss Gillis, Miss Dalbo and Mister Thomas voted yes. The motion was recorded as approval of AR2025-0006 and staff will process the reimbursement per CRA procedures.
The project description in the staff report included enhanced landscaping, on-site concrete work and a site plan that envisioned a public restroom, an ice machine and a two–food-truck court with associated parking.
