Student board member Madalin Yaw told the board the district will host a support-staff job fair on Jan. 29 at the Arrowwood Conference Center and that Heritage High School's "Glow Out" dance is scheduled for Feb. 2. She said White Pine eighth graders will tour Heritage High School Feb. 4–6 and Heritage juniors have an opportunity to tour Delta College on Jan. 29.
Sara Zacharek reported that Heritage Leadership students and Student Assembly attended the Regionals Leadership Conference and two groups qualified for States; Jaina Musonda received an award. Zacharek also said that the JV and varsity pom teams qualified for Division 1 at States and that a recent blood drive was less successful than previous ones because of cold weather and limited promotion. Students signed a poster to give to Midland Chemics after a recent loss of students.
