Board certifies MASB delegates and alternates for 2025 meeting

At the Sept. 24 meeting the Saginaw School District Board certified its delegates and alternates for the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB). Joyce Seals, Kevin Rooker, Janet Nash and Mattie Thompson were selected as delegates; Dr. Charles Coleman, Jasmine Calhoun and Joyce Seals were named alternates.
"Moved by Mrs. Nash and supported by Mr. Rooker, that the Saginaw Board of Education will accept the resolution for the MASB Certification for delegates and alternates as presented," the motion said; the board approved the certification by voice vote (Ayes 6, Nays 0).
Board members offered the names during an open nomination; the selections will be filed with MASB according to the published minutes.
