Bremer County supervisors approved a personnel request allowing an employee, Daryl Mullis, to carry over about 32 hours of vacation to be used around Labor Day.
Landon explained the employee's anniversary date is Aug. 18 and that Mullis asked to retain the hours because he did not expect to use them in the coming weeks. A supervisor moved to approve the carryover, the motion was seconded and the board adopted the request by voice vote.
The action was administrative and no budgetary effect was recorded in the meeting transcript.
