Board authorizes RG Architects for two gatehouse redesigns, approves financing approach

River Ridge CDD approved retaining RG Architects as a Bowman subconsultant to redesign two gatehouses (design/permitting expected 12–18 months). The Board agreed to treat the $62,500 as a reimbursable deferred cost to be invoiced when financing is issued.
Eric Long, PSGRC General Manager, presented RG Architects, P.A.'s fee proposal to redesign two gatehouses and coordinate monument and landscaping elements across the CDD. Long said the buildings will receive a "facelift" rather than demolition and that the main gate has been struck 12 times this year due to low clearance.
The Board discussed design timing (12–18 months), the need for new elevation certificates, and a proposed financing treatment that would book $62,500 as a reimbursable, to be invoiced when the CDD issues financing. On motion by Kurt Blumenthal and seconded by Terry Mountford, the Board authorized Bowman to retain RG Architects as a subconsultant and authorized the Chair to sign documents after counsel and manager review.
