River Ridge CDD approves goals and performance measures to comply with HB7013

The River Ridge Community Development District approved a Goals and Objectives package and a Performance Measures/Standards & Annual Reporting Form to comply with Florida House Bill 7013 on Aug. 27, 2024. District Management and District Counsel outlined statutory requirements that special districts must establish annual goals and develop performance measures to assess progress.
Staff proposed focusing FY2025 reporting on three categories: Community Communication and Engagement; Infrastructure and Facilities Maintenance; and Financial Transparency and Accountability. The initial report is due Dec. 1, 2025 and must be posted on the district website. On motion by Mr. Blumenthal and seconded by Mr. Twombly, the board approved the Goals and Objectives and the Performance Measures/Standards & Annual Reporting Form.
Board action places the district in formal compliance with the new reporting obligations and sets internal performance categories that staff will measure and report next year.
