River Ridge CDD adopts special-assessment resolution for FY2024/25

The River Ridge Community Development District adopted Resolution 2024-08 on Aug. 27, 2024, making a determination of benefit and imposing special assessments for fiscal year 2024/2025. District Counsel Tony Pires recommended opening the public hearing; no affected property owners spoke.
The board agreed to delete all references to "Exhibit B" on Page 2 and throughout the resolution before voting. On motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Twombly, the resolution was adopted as amended. The action certifies the assessment roll and provides mechanisms for collection and enforcement of assessments for the coming fiscal year.
The resolution passed "with all in favor." The board did not record speakers from the public opposing the assessments during the hearing.
