Oxford Planning Commission approves agenda and minutes, excuses two members

The Village of Oxford Planning Commission convened at 7:08 p.m. on Aug. 19, 2025, with four members present and two absent. Commissioner Tom Schultz moved, with Regina Nock seconding, to excuse Justin Ballard and Leslie Pielack; the motion passed unanimously (Ayes - 4, Nays - 0).
The commission approved the meeting agenda by a motion from Schultz, seconded by Flynn, and approved the June 17, 2025 regular meeting minutes on a motion by Schultz, seconded by CJ Gozdor. Both motions passed 4–0. The minutes record staff in attendance as Recording Secretary Vickie Hauff, Planner Mario Ortega and Village Manager Joe Madore.
There was no correspondence and no public comment during the call-to-public item. Under reports, the Village Manager provided a DDA update; the minutes note that the Zoning Board of Appeals had no meeting and the Oxford Township Planning Commission had no report. Chair Scott Flynn called for adjournment at 7:49 p.m.; the motion to adjourn by Tom Schultz was adopted with all in favor.
