Board members approved a series of labor actions brought forward at the June 9 meeting. Presenters said the successor agreement with the California School Employee Association (CSEA Chapter 455) and the tentative agreement with the Faculty Association both include a 4% salary increase retroactive to July 1, 2025. The superintendent and negotiators thanked bargaining teams and said ratification stabilizes staffing and supports the district's instructional priorities.
Administrators presented AB 1200 public-disclosure summaries of the fiscal impacts: the Faculty Association increase was estimated to cost $2,734,564 in the current fiscal year; the CSEA cost was estimated at $1,330,943 from the general fund and $78,097 from the cafeteria fund; and unrepresented supervisors and management increases were estimated at $467,771 (general fund) and $19,059 (cafeteria). The board approved each disclosure and the agreements by roll-call votes.
