The Nash County Board of Commissioners on July 13 approved awarding engineering and construction administration services for Project Patriot: Freedom Industries Sewer Line Extension to Stocks Engineering, P.A. The motion was made by Commissioner Sue Leggett, seconded by Commissioner J. Wayne Outlaw, and carried unanimously.
Emily Moore, Grants & Intergovernmental Relations Director, presented the project and recommended selection of Stocks Engineering. The award is subject to review and approval of the documents by the County Attorney and County Manager before execution. The contract award is intended to advance a sewer extension tied to the Freedom Industries project in Nash County.
