During its Nov. 7 meeting the Select Board handled a series of routine administrative matters. The board approved minutes for Oct. 3 and Oct. 17, Warrant #19, adopted a Sewer User and Abatement Policy, and approved a pole permit at Bridge and River streets (all motions carried 5-0).
Other approvals included authorizing negotiations with the Town of Mexico regarding police pricing, approving an agreement for services with the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, approving a 5K road race to benefit American Legion Post 24 (Dec. 7, subject to police approval), granting blanket letters of approval for game-of-chance and bingo to several local organizations for 2025, accepting the town fuel bid from Community Energy, and moving forward with an RFP for contracted grant management. Most motions recorded unanimous support.
