Police chief thanks multiple agencies for response to Route 232 incident

"I would like to take a moment to express to those agencies that responded to the critical incident on Route 232," Milligan said, then named the Oxford County Sheriff's Office, Franklin County Sheriff's Office, Wilton, Norway and Paris police departments, Maine Warden Service, Maine State Police (Road Troopers, Tactical Team, Negotiation Team), multiple neighboring fire departments, Med-Care, Rumford Public Works and the Maine Fire Marshal's Office.
The chief's remarks were framed as an expression of gratitude to partner agencies and to town crews that assisted with traffic control and roadblocks. The board recorded the appreciation during departmental updates and acknowledged the scale of interagency cooperation.
