Board authorizes president, vice president and finance chair to negotiate superintendent contract

In a unanimous roll call vote on May 1, the Swan Valley Board of Education authorized the board president, vice president and the finance committee chairperson to negotiate contract terms with Alison Cicinelli, Ed.D. The motion was made by Jeffrey Whelton and seconded by Heather Farr.
The board had interviewed Cicinelli earlier in the meeting; the authorization directs three board officers to draft and finalize contract terms with the candidate, after which the full board will consider any proposed contract for final approval.
