Swan Valley board selects Alison Cicinelli as candidate for superintendent

The Swan Valley School District Board of Education voted unanimously on May 1 to select Alison Cicinelli, Ed.D., as the candidate to be offered a contract for superintendent. The motion to select Cicinelli was made by board member Jeffrey Whelton and seconded by Michael Wenzel; a roll call vote recorded Aldrich, Farr, Raymond, Schneider, Shanks, Wenzel and Whelton voting aye and no votes recorded.
Cicinelli had been interviewed a second time by the board earlier in the evening; the board subsequently moved to authorize its officers to negotiate contract terms (see separate action). The special meeting opened at 6:08 p.m. and adjourned at 10:12 p.m.
