CR-75-2024 was adopted to reprogram and reallocate $820,601 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from county FY2020–2023 action plans to new eligible CDBG activities, prioritizing shovel-ready projects and public infrastructure improvements. A committee report said the resolution aligns with Plan 2035 goals for affordable housing and high-quality public infrastructure.
Council Member Burrows raised equity concerns, noting the listed projects "leave out the southern part of the county" and said he looks forward to working with the administration to resolve those concerns. The committee of the whole had voted favorably 9-0 and the council adopted the resolution on a recorded roll-call vote (10-0).
