West Carroll board approves consent agenda, new hires and financial reports

At its Oct. 15 meeting the West Carroll C.U.S.D. #314 Board approved a consent agenda that included five new hires, minutes from Sept. 23 and routine financial reports and bills; the motion passed unanimously by recorded vote.
Board member Juliene McCormick moved and Dawn Rath seconded a motion to approve the Oct. 15 consent agenda, which the board passed by voice/roll-call vote.
The consent agenda included new hires: Abby Payne as 7th-grade girls' basketball coach for the 2025–2026 school year; Danielle Wilcox as an elementary paraprofessional; Aaron Haring as JV girls' basketball coach; Jonas Atherton as a full-time bus aide; and a leave-without-pay request for Melinda Libberton on Oct. 21, 2025. The agenda also carried minutes of the Sept. 23, 2025 budget hearing and regular meeting, activity-account reports, payment of bills and the FRIS report.
The motion to approve the consent items was made by Zac Vandendooren and seconded by Greg Stott and was recorded as passing with all board members voting "Yea" (Juliene McCormick; Dawn Rath; Greg Stott; Fred Tipton; Zac Vandendooren; Jeff Woodside).
