The Swartz Creek Board approved several agreements and contractor recommendations for Mary Crapo Park Phase 2 at its March 26 meeting, parceling work across architect and construction-manager amendments and a set of recommended contractors.
The Board approved Amendment 1 to the AIA—B133 Architect Agreement with Gazall Lewis & Associates Architects, Inc., for $7,500 for architect and construction supervision services, contingent on legal approval. It also approved Amendment 1 to the AIA—A133 Construction Manager Agreement with Lurvey Construction LLC for $145,234 for the construction-manager fee plus reimbursables of $62,226, contingent on legal approval. Both actions were recorded as contingent on legal sign-off.
Separately, the Board approved recommended contractors for the Phase 2 project—Gross Construction, Action Traffic Maintenance, AstroTurf Great Lakes, Southern Bleacher, and Weinstein Electric—with a total cost not to exceed $2,226,066 to be funded from the 2025 Bond Fund. The motion carried on a recorded roll call of 7–0. The minutes record the funding source as the 2025 Bond Fund; the amendments to architect and CM agreements were noted as contingent on legal approval.
