The City Council of the City of Alma approved claims and invoices totaling $197,093.07 for the July 7–20, 2026 period and accepted the Treasurer's Report during its July 20 meeting. The Treasurer's Report listed departmental transfers to Community Buildings and Parks and Recreation, the remaining auditorium balance after recent expenses, and noted the planned closure of the Hospital Bond Sinking Fund savings account.
Council members voted 4–0 on motions to approve the claims and to accept the Treasurer's Report. Mayor Hal Haeker called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m., and the votes recorded were Moulton, Mahalek, Casper and Wheeler voting yes; none voted no. The Treasurer's Report discussion included how remaining sinking-fund CD proceeds would be handled later in the meeting.
