Inland Wetlands Commission approves replacement of two culverts on Westside Road

At its regular meeting on Aug. 3, 2026, the Town of Norfolk Inland Wetlands Commission voted to approve Application #26-008 to replace two culverts in the regulated area at Assessor's Map 7-10-23 and 7-10-24 on Westside Road. Applicant Susannah Wood, representing Sugarbush Partnership, provided photos and a cross-sectional diagram of the existing culverts and the proposed replacements. Vice Chairman Jill Chase asked specifically about pipe diameter; Ms. Wood responded that the replacement pipes would be the same diameter as the culverts currently in place. The Commission reviewed contractor sequencing and site materials before the vote.
