Council agrees to BCHA request from Workforce Housing Fund

During the FY2021 budget review the council agreed to fund the amount requested by BCHA from the Workforce Housing Fund after staff reported employee participation in the program remained about the same.
The Sun Valley City Council reviewed the Workforce Housing Fund during the June 16 work session and agreed to the amount requested by BCHA. The finance manager/treasurer reported that the number of employees participating in the workforce housing program had remained about the same, and the council approved the requested funding level for BCHA.
No additional conditions or amendments to the funding were recorded at the special meeting; staff will process the agreed funding as part of the FY2021 budget work and report back as needed.
