Committee members reported on National Trails Day efforts: "we had 40 people up there to work on the bridge" the chair recounted, describing filled gabion baskets at Little's Creek and volunteer teams that completed work in roughly an hour to 90 minutes. A separate grant will fund a new parking area at Cottonwood Canyon and ten days of professional trail crews to address technical rockwork and trail stability, a committee member said. The meeting closed after members agreed to postpone detailed OHV mapping until August to allow fuller participation; a motion to adjourn followed.
