Town schedules second public meeting and public notice for CDBG PER process

Plevna’s clerk said the town has scheduled the second public meeting required for the CDBG planning grant process and has placed a public notice in the newspaper.
"Yes, the next one is scheduled for 6 o'clock the same day as our council meeting, and I've already sent a notice to the paper for it to run this week. So there will be a two week notice put out for the public before it takes place," said Ashley Martin, clerk/treasurer. Staff and EPEDC said there will be additional public involvement during PER development and that they will return with details to council as the planning proceeds. The CDBG public meeting adjourned at 6:23 p.m.
