Representative Childs said the committee concluded that amending ordinance language to require public comment at every meeting was “not necessarily advisable,” and emphasized instead creating clear guidance and consistent practices, messaging and posting procedures. The RTM accepted the committee’s recommendation by voice vote and directed the Education Committee to prepare guidelines and outreach steps.
