The School Board of Albany Area Schools, ISD 745 adopted a resolution accepting monetary donations totaling $7,487.00 from local donors. The Huskie Booster Club provided $3,744.00 for a scorer’s table; the St. Cloud Optimist Club gave $1,500 for a scholarship. Other donations were designated for Supermileage, movie licensing, gymnastics and community education activities.
The resolution listing donors and designated purposes was moved by Member Sand and seconded by Member Henkelman and carried by all present. The donations are recorded for the district’s accounting and were accepted by board action during the Jan. 8 meeting.
