Albany Area Schools board certifies $6.22 million levy for 2025

Member Dirkes moved to adopt the levy certification and Member Henkelman seconded; the motion was supported by all board members present. The certified levy breakdown recorded in the motion was: General Fund $2,672,521.55; Community Service $148,965.50; General Debt Services $3,394,419.86. Director of Business Services Sue Clemen presented the Truth in Taxation hearing and related material before the vote.
The certification completes the district's levy-setting step for tax year 2024 collections that are payable in 2025. Board members did not record any public objections during the hearing portion of the proceeding.
