Committee keeps tennis-site lights in project, defers final decision on courts pending town funding clarity

Committee members agreed to keep the lighting package in the project for now and defer any final court decisions until the town provides a commitment on fee reimbursements or other funding. "I'm leaning on holding on to the lights and then making a decision later on," said Goody Leggett. Staff noted lead times for light equipment and the risk that deleting single items could increase unit prices; retaining lights preserves scheduling flexibility.
The committee also requested more detail on potential court costs and the timing of any town decision; a separate RFI/meeting on courts was scheduled for August 28 to gather market information and pricing.
