Adam Gavser introduced himself as organizer of the Belvedere Homemade Film Festival and asked the council to continue support at the same level as last year. He said the festival screened 33 films to an audience of about 350 and ran free filmmaking workshops drawing roughly 200 participants; he also said he collaborated with Redwood High School and the library to broaden participation.
"I ended up screening 33 films, had an audience of about 350 people," Adam said, and he offered to provide links or highlights for the city website pending filmmakers' permission. Adam then switched roles to speak for the Concerts in the Park committee, saying the 29th season will include four free concerts; the committee plans to keep its funding request at last year’s level and continue conservative budgeting for band selection.
