Consultants Scott Smith (Plante Moran Realpoint) and Aaron Phillips (McCarthy & Smith, Inc.) described four focus areas: mechanicals/lighting/roofing for existing bays, enlargement of four bus bays to accommodate longer buses, exterior painting, and parking lot refresh.
The meeting record indicates the bid tabulation and award summary are in the Board packet and that the recommendation is within the overall 2020 bond budget and significantly below the current project budget. Board members asked questions that were answered by staff and consultants; the item was scheduled to return for action at the Dec. 3, 2024 regular meeting.
