Board hears HR and curriculum updates; resignation of district social worker to be approved Oct. 24
Summary

Assistant/Interim Superintendent Andrea Glynn told the board that Jessica Brockdorff, a district social worker, submitted her resignation; the minutes say the resignation will be included on the Oct. 24 regular meeting consent/approval items. Glynn also provided the board with an update on collective bargaining negotiations.
Kim Likins, Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment, provided an overview of assessment work, including NWEA and state testing, and noted district activities tied to Manufacturing Day and the continued use of GoGuardian monitoring tools in classrooms. Supporting materials were attached to the agenda; no formal curriculum actions were taken at the Oct. 16 informational meeting.
