The board approved ordering track uniforms after discussing team sizes and athletic staffing. Chair Jolene Marchand directed Athletic Director Ron Frescas to meet with spring coaches to review the athletic handbook and coaches' contracts, ensure evaluations are completed each season, and clarify procedures for missed games or absences. Jarae Cate moved to approve the track uniforms; Anna Vargas seconded and the motion carried.
Board members noted there were not enough students for a softball team and therefore asked that Ron order track uniforms only. The board did not change staffing at the meeting but emphasized clearer oversight and documentation for coaching assignments and evaluations going forward.
