SMCOE introduces two new executive directors and honors March employee of the month

The Board heard introductions from Hector Camacho Jr. (Executive Director, Equity, Social Justice and Inclusion) and Ian Bain (Executive Director, Strategy and Communications) and recognized Natasha Dinis as March Employee of the Month.
Board President Hugo Torres introduced staff items that included the Board’s recognition of Natasha Dinis as the March 2025 Employee of the Month. Dinis is an Executive Assistant III in the Educational Services Division and was honored by the Board for her service.
The Board also heard brief self‑introductions from two recently promoted leaders in the Office of the Superintendent. Hector Camacho Jr. introduced himself as Executive Director of Equity, Social Justice and Inclusion, and Ian Bain introduced himself as Executive Director of Strategy and Communications. Both said they look forward to supporting district work and countywide initiatives.
