A council member described CityLogic, a pavement-assessment product that surveys roads every four years and provides annual updates, and said the city is exploring whether to adopt it or join a regional contract. The member said the initial survey runs about $4,000 with a roughly $300 annual renewal and that the system assigns condition scores to road segments to help prioritize maintenance.
Separately, council members recapped recent community events (You Days) and thanked volunteers, firefighters and the sheriff's department for support. They promoted an August 22 5K and 0.5-mile run for Bonneville Communities that Care and asked for additional volunteers to sustain traditional events such as the salmon bake. Those informational items were received without formal action.
