Markesan council approves claims and $7,703.75 payment to Grand River Fire District

A motion to move agenda item 6.6 ahead of claims was approved, and the council approved a payment of $7,703.75 to the Grand River Fire District for the driveway. "Motion Abendroth/Prill to move agenda item 6.6 before approval of claims and approve the $7,703.75 payment to the Grand River Fire District for the driveway. Motion carried 5-0," according to the meeting minutes.
Afterward, the council approved City Checks #39211-39292, electronic payments, direct deposits and utility payments as presented. The December 2025 Treasurer's Report was filed for audit by consensus. These actions were recorded on the roll call and carried by the votes noted in the minutes.
