Dr. Foley presented the reinstatement committee's review of two petitions seeking reinstatement after expulsions from other schools, reporting the committee recommended denial for both cases.
"The committee reviewed the two petitions for student reinstatement after expulsion from other school, which were unanimously denied due to the students' prior records of violence and behavioral issues," Dr. Foley said. He referenced the student files (RRCR-KC-09-2025 and RRCR-KM-09-2025) and told the Board the committee's recommendation would be placed on the Consent Agenda for the Oct. 15 action meeting.
The Board did not ask follow-up questions during the briefing. The denial recommendation reflects the committee's assessment of past behavioral concerns in each case.
