Pennfield board clears consent agenda, elects CISD reps and approves insurance membership

At its May 20 meeting, the Pennfield Schools Board approved a set of routine items grouped on the consent agenda including minutes, check registers, electronic funds transfers and finance expenditure reports. The consent agenda motion was made by Sarah Jones and seconded by Austin Brown and recorded as carried (6–0, one absence).
The board also approved representatives to attend the CISD Biennial Election meeting on June 2 (Dawn Forton and Stephen Herbstreith), approved membership in WMHIP (a public entity risk pool), and approved April bond bills from Triangle and Kingscott. The board further approved the MHSAA 2025–2026 membership resolution. All motions were approved by recorded votes with the same 6–0 tally and one absence noted.
